ABOUT US
Originating in the 1960's as an engraver & eventually an award supplier, supplying quality products & services to a vast range of clients; Individuals, schools, sports clubs, promotional companies, small business, large corporate & international companies.
Now family owned and operated since the 1980's & was moved from Willoughby on Sydney's lower North Shore to Thornleigh on the upper North Shore, 1994 saw Kopycut fully reintegrate with its corporate arm 'Performance Plaques' creating "Kopycut Trophies & Performance Plaques" as we are today.
We manufacture, assemble & engrave a large range of products at our premises, using the latest in modern manufacturing techniques and machinery, giving you the largest possible range of items to choose from.
While originally just specialising in the trophy & award market, our range has now expanded to encompass all your achievement & celebratory needs, supplying items like giftware, glassware, custom printed ribbon & promotional products.
WHY 'KOPYCUT'?
The Kopycut name comes from the earlier pantograph engraving mechanism, in which at the first point an image is manually drawn (or stencil traced) & replicated at larger/smaller scale at a second point, so it would 'copy' & 'cut' the engraving into the required materials; hence "Kopycut" (I guess the founders in the 1960's used the trend of K replacing the C) the same principal is still used today but with computer programs & automated machine engravers or lasers.
